Top Teachers Director, Michael Ferri, has a degree in physics and mathematics from Waikato University, where he also studied chemistry and earth science. Michael has a Teaching Diploma, and is a registered teacher. Before he retired to become a full time tutor in 1999 Michael spent 25 years as a school teacher. During his career he held the positions of Head of Physics, Head of Science, Head of Mathematics, Head of Information Technology and Acting Assistant Principal at various schools. The Waikato schools at which he has taught include Tokoroa High School, Melville High School, Fairfield College, Waikato Diocesan School for Girls, Sacred Heart Girls' College and Te Awamutu College. He has been a marker of NCEA papers for the NZQA, and he has been a part-time lecturer in mathematics and physics at Waikato University. Michael offers tuition in mathematics, statistics, calculus, science, physics, chemistry & biology to students of all ages from Y1 to university level.
